In a previous article, we talked about how to correct an incorrectly formatted SRT file on LinkedIn. But today, we are going to go over how to add captions to a LinkedIn video without using an SRT file.

How to Burn Captions into Your LinkedIn Video
1. Login to your Quicc account
If you don’t have one already, just sign up! Every new Quicc member gets 5 free minutes.
2. Upload your video
Quicc currently accepts .mov and .mp4 files.
3. Go to video management
Click "videos" on the menu bar at the top of the screen.
4. Select the video you just uploaded
This will be the first video on the top righthand corner.
5. Review transcript and timing
The transcript and timing editor will be available side by side to your video to allow for easy editing. Also, full transcripts (without timestamps) can be copied from this screen.
6. Customize caption styles
This is the fun part! You can choose the color, font style, opacity, background color or outline color of your font. You also control spacing and placement of text on this screen.
7. Finalize video
During this process, the captions you create will be burned into your video.
8. Download video
Videos are downloaded from the video management screen. Simply select the green "download" button.
9. Upload video to LinkedIn
Since your captions will be burned in, the only file you will have to upload is the new video file you downloaded from Quicc.
